Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia (PANDA)

PANDA offers a range of services, including a telephone counselling service specifically for perinatal mental health concerns, a referral service to other perinatal services in your local area, and training & education. PANDA’s website contains useful information resources and fact sheets on various topics useful for expecting and new mothers and fathers and their families.

Breastfeeding Helpline

The Breastfeeding Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is staffed by trained, volunteer counsellors who answer calls on a roster system in their own homes.

How Is Dad Going?

The transition to parenthood can be challenging and Dads need support too. Dads can experience anxiety and depression during the antenatal and postnatal periods. PANDA’s brother site “How is Dad Going” offers a range of useful information relating to issues faced by dads.
